Boxing and Circuit
This group class combines boxing exercises and drills within a circuit style workout. Boxing is a whole body workout that builds hand-eye coordination while firing up your strength and cardiovascular fitness.
The boxing/circuit class runs for 60 minutes including a warm up and cool down. The circuits are a mix of high intensity bouts of exercise with moderate intensity recovery periods to keep your body working throughout the class.
Our physiotherapists are on hand to modify and target the exercises to suit your individual needs and goals. They are currently run by our physiotherapists Felicity and Chloe.
We have two classes per week at the following times:-
Mondays at 1pm
Thursdays at 3pm

Why would this class be good for me?
If you are looking for a fun way to get your heart rate up in a safe and guided environment, with a mix to improve your cardiovascular health and de-stress in a motivated group environment this class is for you!
Boxing is a great outlet for stress for two reasons:
First, during a boxing workout you typically transition between high intensity bouts of exercise and moderate intensity recovery periods giving your body a great workout and improving body composition (fat to muscle ratio). Secondly, when you’re pushing yourself through a couple minutes of high-intensity punching or kicking you don’t have much mental power left to worry about how awful your job is, or how dirty your house is! And even during rest periods, you’ll be focused on sucking wind and mentally preparing for the next round, not stressing over your packed schedule.
