At-Home Exercises for Beginners
As per the Australian Government’s recommendations, we are all experiencing an unknown period of self-isolation with exception of going outdoors to exercise and purchasing essentials. We understand this is a difficult time for a lot of people at the moment, and our staff is exercising self-isolation by discontinuing all face-to-face consultations and classes.
If you are self-isolating at the moment, we want to ensure that you are still keeping as active as possible during this time. Exercise is very important, especially during this time, to maintaining immune health, mood and wellbeing.
Our team are providing online consultations via video-conferencing (Zoom) and telephone consultations if video-conferencing is not accessible.
Today’s post focuses on some beginner exercise options that you can do using a chair. This is especially beneficial for any people that may have difficulty standing or performing exercises without assistance. We will be splitting up the exercises into strength-based and balance.
